The SSDL has contributed to research focused on understanding the roles of social determinants at the community level with the science of SD in communities. Using system dynamics, computer modeling & simulation, and group model building, we have contribugted to multiple projects in several application areas including intimate partner violence, child welfare, mental health, cancer, housing and homelessness and more.
