Kaelin Richardson, MSW

Adjunct Instructor

Kaelin Richardson (they/them) is Network Manager of the Greater East St. Louis Early Learning Partnership (ELP) and co-instructor of Community Based System Dynamics. Kaelin’s approach focuses on the intersection of community-led collaboration and social justice pedagogy, which they believe is a strong foundation for decolonizing our institutions and systems. Kaelin hopes to leverage system dynamics to support financial and geographic access to inclusive, anti-racist/anti-bias education. Their current projects focus on exploring applications of Community Based System Dynamics in collective impact work, especially in relation to developing channels for family- and provider-led advocacy.

Kaelin has over 10 years of experience in education beginning as an early learning teacher and spanning youth development, career education, and higher education in more recent years. They have an MSW from the Brown School at Washington University and are an alum of University of Missouri – St. Louis and Georgia Southern University.  Kaelin spends their free time hiking with their pup, kayaking, and painting.
