Kelsey Werner, MSW

Kelsey is a Founding Partner at Tributary Design, a strategic design partnership that works with community organizations, health systems, and researchers apply system dynamics modeling to examine complex problems and human-centered design to translate insights into action.

Kelsey’s research and practice focuses on using community based system dynamics, a
participatory approach for engaging communities in understanding and changing
systems, to solve complex social problems. In her current role, she’s exploring the
intersection of systems science and human-centered design to enhance health and
financial wellbeing. She has worked with diverse communities in sub-Saharan Africa,
Southeast Asia, and throughout the US on issues ranging from public health and
environmental sustainability to intervention implementation and program design.
