River Chew, MSW

Teaching Assistant

River works at the Center for Public Health Systems Science at the Brown School, mostly on projects related to health equity and tobacco control. They graduated with an MSW from the Brown School in 2019 focusing on Violence and Injury Prevention and System Dynamics. Their research focuses on issues related to violence, trauma, and social support systems. They have a background in clinical work, with particular interests in eating disorders, addiction, and expressive arts therapies.
