Associate Professor

Patrick Fowler, PhD, is an Associate Professor at the Brown School Washington University in St. Louis. He trained in clinical psychology with specializations in community psychology and child development. Dr. Fowler’s research focuses on programs and policies that promote housing stability among at-risk children and families. He works within the child welfare, housing, and homelessness systems to inform evidence-based practice. A grant funded by the Administration for Children and Families Children’s Bureau supports work with the SSDL to apply group model building and system dynamics to coordinate housing services within the child welfare system. Dr. Fowler also collaborates with the SSDL around the use of system dynamics to understand housing patters among low-income families.
