Dianne Lam is an intern at the Social System Design Lab at the Brown School at Washington University in Saint Louis. She works on a team to learn about and master systems thinking and system dynamics activities, develop and maintain relationships, and plan and coordinate this year’s summit on gun violence. Dianne has just graduated from Ritenour High School as a member of the class of 2016. She will pursue higher education at Harris-Stowe State University in the fall, where she plans to major in secondary education with an emphasis on math. At Ritenour, she has had the chance to be a part of the leadership class, student council, and the Social Justice Club where she sought the opportunity to serve others, change the atmosphere of the school, and unify the school and community. Dianne is very passionate in studying social justice issues and finding solutions to produce positive social and educational transformation. Dianne enjoys traveling, interior designing, and spending time with her amazing family and friends.
